It’s another round of WWE NXT releases.
I liked Adriana Rizzo in her role in The D’Angelo Family. She just returned from a torn ACL back in June.
Wendy Choo was a fan favorite, but was given a ridiculous gimmick.
They pushed Jasper Troy early on since he was the winner of the inaugural season of LFG, but creative didn’t have much for him.

PWInsider reports that she’s expected back on WWE Raw soon.
Lyra Valkyria has been mentioning Bayley in promos, so that was the first hint that she wasn’t leaving for AEW.
You have no idea what Shawn Michaels is cooking up week to week.
That’s the fun of it all in NXT right now. The NXT title picture is pure chaos, with a plethora of dudes chasing after new champion Grayson Waller.
There’s former champ Tony D’Angelo. There’s Zilla Fatu. There’s Cruz Montana. There’s Mason Rook. There’s Saquon Shugars. There’s EK Prosper. And there’s also new NXT general manager Keanu Carver (he did make the match for Robert Stone on Tuesday’s show!).
NXT is using the approach of throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. It’s what a developmental brand should be.
Create opportunities for these guys, and see which of them rises to the occasion.
Zilla is the best short-term option. He’ll be on the WWE main roster in several months.
Montana is the best long-term option. He has the “it” factor to carry a brand.
But there’s intrigue with every option.
WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event features Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker, and Lil’ Yachty vs. Baron Corbin.
One of these is not like the other! Sorry, Cody and Randy.
Here are my Sunday Night’s Main Event predictions.

I am streamed out. You’ve gotta have a streaming service to watch this or that, and I decided to return to the nostalgic days of DVDs.

This was an interesting decade with three era changes included, so there’s good variety to choose from.
Let’s do it.
Qualifying matches for the 2026 Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank begin on Raw next week.
Who should win the men’s and women’s matches?
For the men, Trick Williams has to be a top contender. The same can be said for Bron Breakker.
Trick needs to get away from the Baron Corbin-verse and Lil’ Yachty (the pairing was surprisingly good at the start but Trick can stand alone). Breakker winning via a cash-in seems more likely than a straight up one-on-one match at this point.
I also wouldn’t discount Money in the Bank being used as a storytelling device for The Bloodline. Jacob Fatu or Solo Sikoa would be the most interesting choices of that group.
How about the women? Blake Monroe and Roxanne Perez would be good choices.
I like the idea of Perez winning, but then Liv Morgan costs her in the cash-in attempt. That’s babyface fuel right there.
Monroe has made it clear she only wants the most glamorous things and opponents, so a shine briefcase with a guaranteed title shot fits that criteria.

My favorite WWF Golden Era pay-per-views!
For the purpose of this exercise, we’re doing 1985-1992 as the qualifying years. I know 1993 is technically included for some due to Hulk Hogan not leaving until after King of the Ring in June.
But 1993 just doesn’t fit the Golden Era. You could even argue that post-WrestleMania VIII in 1992 doesn’t either.

The algorithm doesn’t want me posting old wrestling stuff on my new wrestling channel, Wrestling Reaction, so I figured this was the best strategy.
The first video of the new era is a look back at WrestleMania X-Seven 25 years later.
Is it still the best WWE PPV ever?
My answer is…watch the video!
Or at least the one he should’ve had from the beginning.
He debuted at the Royal Rumble, and then WWE did nothing with him for a while.
His good guy character never clicked (despite a well executed backstory), and he was the third wheel in the LA Knight and Solo Sikoa rise to the top.
So, pairing him with an intimidating tag team in OTM to try to take over Raw is how Royce Keys should’ve debuted.
Better late than never.
I didn’t love the finish.
Does every hot babyface have to wrestle with their conscience in every big title match? This wasn’t Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 level stuff, but it’s just an overused trope that didn’t work for me as a fan.
Sami Zayn’s interference was predictable, and going right back to Zayn vs. Kevin Owens is interesting.
You couldn’t have CM Punk straight up beat Owens, but WWE played it safe with another top good guy.
On a positive note, WWE has a reliable, consistent formula for Triple Threat Matches.
Owens vs. Zayn vs. Punk at Money in the Bank seems likely at this point.
He was never WWE’s kind of guy.
In the TKO era, it’s “how can we monetize you” versus “how good are you in the ring?”
He had great matches with Gunther, Carmelo Hayes, and Sami Zayn, and I thought his character work with Carmelo during their United States title feud was quality stuff.
His wrestling ability will be welcomed in AEW (seems like a layup signing for Tony Khan).
