Blake’s WWE Raw 7/13/26 Review: Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns Contract Signing

In this WWE Raw 7/13/26 review, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns sign the contract for their SummerSlam match, Oba Femi takes aim at Brock Lesnar, and a surprising star captivates the Dallas crowd.

Here are some thoughts on Raw.

Blake’s WWE Raw Thoughts

1. Oba Femi was once again a huge attraction to the fans, and he gave the best reason so far why he delayed the title match he earned in King of the Ring. He knew Brock Lesnar would cost him, so he’s solving that open loop first. The man also destroyed police officers (who turned out to be fake via Adam Pearce‘s questioning of Paul Heyman‘s statement).

2. I’m not sure why, but IYO SKY vs. Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship hasn’t reached must-see status yet. The lack of anything noteworthy in Liv’s title run since WrestleMania 42 is likely the reason.

3. And then there was THAT SEGMENT. Yes, the one with Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Maxxine Dupri, Otis, and Akira Tozawa. You want to talk about exceeding expectations. A terrific, emotional back-and-forth that made fans more invested in everyone except Bron Breakker (he’s not January Bron Breakker). Otis and Tozawa might not win the titles, but I’m excited to see the match. How many people would have said that before Raw? The Vision needed that momentum boost.

4. Who are you cheering for in the newly announced six-man tag at SummerSlam? Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso? LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys? I don’t know how fans are supposed to react to these two teams. The Bloodline acts like heels but gets cheered. Solo is acting like a babyface but not getting many cheers. Knight and Keys are the only ones with clearly defined roles. It should sort itself out, but it’s confusing.

5. Is Heyman done with The Vision? Seems like it. At least it opens the path for his return to The Bloodline (everyone else is doing it)!

6. Bayley vs. unhinged Lyra Valkyria is a nice addition for Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden. Unless you want Bayley to win…

7. Big Cass is returning to WWE on August 3! He’s seven-foot-tall, and you can’t teach that. I’ve always enjoyed this dude and like his upside better than say a Baron Corbin (I have questions about his WWE return). One would think WWE will tease Enzo Amore‘s return next week.

8. Chad Gable winning the Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match was inevitable and the right move. I still wonder if WWE is going to swerve everyone and have him turn heel. That’s less about logic and more about decades of professional wrestling fandom. Gable vs. Penta at SummerSlam should be excellent, even if it puts the ultra-likeable Penta in an unenviable spot.

9. The Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns contract signing was….fine. I didn’t like it or hate it as much as some seemed to. I preferred the Femi vs. Reigns route for SummerSlam and am not particularly interested in another match between these two. It will be good, but I’m not clamoring for it.

Did Reigns get the better of Rollins on the microphone? Yes. Was it more about wink-wink backstage stuff than actual in-ring story? Also yes. The best part, in my opinion, was Rollins’ response to Reigns’ remarks, stating that everything he said had been eating at him for 15 years.

That worked for the story of Rollins as the number two to Reigns.
