WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Predictions: The Bloodline’s Big Win?

WWE Crown Jewel 2024 has arrived. Who wins each of the seven matches on the card?

Here are my predictions.

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven vs. Damage CTRL vs. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson vs. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill – Women’s Tag Team Titles

Do they begin the tension between Belair and Cargill here? Maybe not yet. If the Belair vs. Cargill match is slotted for WrestleMania 41, they don’t need to go the route of miscommunication or any other breakup trope just yet. As for the match, is the title situation better on any of the other teams? Probably not, despite the improvement of the women’s tag team division. I wouldn’t hate Legend and Jackson winning since they’ve been impressive, but Green and Niven seem like the next best option if the champs lose. However, I think the belts stay with Belair and Cargill.

  • WINNERS: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill

Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton

WWE is pushing new edge for Owens. How far will Owens go to prove his point about Cody Rhodes? Owens needs to target the back of Orton to play into his willingness to do anything, which includes going after his former best friend’s biggest weakness. Does Owens destroy Orton and then cost Cody his match? It’s a possibility. Since Owens is likely getting another title match against Cody before Orton, he’s the pick.

  • WINNER: Kevin Owens

Bronson Reed vs. Seth Rollins

You already have the injury angle from Raw to sell Rollins as the underdog in this spot. So, does WWE go all the way and give Reed a signature win? Rollins can win the return match, as it does seem this will be more than a one-match series. Rollins may not be in the World title picture until the new year, which allows him the opportunity to heat back up by winning this feud. Reed winning makes him a threat to Breakker for the IC title, and a potential World title challenger in the future. I’ll probably get this one wrong, but I’ll take a chance on Reed.

  • WINNER: Bronson Reed

Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. LA Knight – United States Title

If WWE wants to take the title off of Knight without pinning him, this is the spot to do it. However, the best of seven series hasn’t done much for Andrade or Carmelo since neither man won. Another question: Who’s next for Knight if he retains? The AJ Styles injury may have changed booking approach, which is an interesting wrinkle in this whole thing. I can’t make a strong argument for Andrade or Carmelo, so I’ll choose the champ to retain.

  • WINNER: LA Knight

The Bloodline vs. Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso

This match is straightforward: The Bloodline needs the win more. What reason is there for a War Games Match at Survivor Series if Reigns and The Usos win? Solo Sikoa and company need to regain momentum in this rivalry, and a victory would do just that. The only question is who pins who? Solo is the leader and should earn the win, but will WWE go as far as to have him pin Reigns? Meanwhile, this has to set up a huge moment for Sami Zayn, either after the match or on Raw (a taped episode the next day in Saudi Arabia).

  • WINNERS: The Bloodline

Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan – Women’s Crown Jewel Title

I don’t hate the idea of putting the World title on Tiffany Stratton via a cash-in. But since this is the first Crown Jewel title match, WWE may not want that overshadowing this inaugural achievement. Also, the argument against Stratton cashing in on Liv is that a cash-in on Nia is more satisfying for the fans given their up-and-down relationship. Rhea Ripley’s injury could play a role after the attack on NXT, or she could make a surprise appearance and take out both, which makes Stratton choose who to cash in on. I don’t have a great read on who wins due to the Stratton wild card, so I’ll pick the more dominant competitor.

  • WINNER: Nia Jax

Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes – Men’s Crown Jewel Title

Could Owens or Orton interfere? Again, it’s possible, but I could also see Triple H wanting to keep this clean. Gunther mentioned Cody getting others involved in his business in promos multiple times in the build. Does that lead to the more focused wrestler (Gunther) earning the win? Gunther winning would also setup a highly-anticipated rematch in the future. Plus, Cody doesn’t even have to be pinned since Gunther can win by TKO using the submission move. I’m picking Gunther, but I wouldn’t be stunned if they put it on Cody to have the babyface hero start the title lineage.

  • WINNER: Gunther
